One thing you need to keep in mind is that you should use the same set of board firmware+p96 drivers (which get updated every time there is a new firmware). Any mismatches between the two will cause crashes. Try the same version that amimjf is using on his A500.

For my A500+ I used the zz9000-firmware-r-1_7beta3-a500plus.zip

First of all Merry Christmas everyone.amimjf wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 12:57 pm https://source.mntmn.com/MNT/zz9000-firmware/releases

Right found the INT2 jumper....that made no differnce....also the second image on the icons are still corrupted...and still locks up if you press the right mouse button for the workbench menu.
Just to recap my system is...
A500+
OS3.1.4 Rom
OS 3.4.1 WB
TF536....Relocated to a Lazarus card(the z9000 Denise adapter stops you from using a normal relocator)...old firmware rev 2 pcb....(there is no JTAG header)
ZZ9000 1.7 Beta 3 Firmware....ZZ9000 installer V1.6.....< this combo might be a issue due to different Version Numbers....?(as above)
I`m going to build a Vanilla 3.1.4.1 WB with just P96 (icomp) and MMU libs ZZ9000 Installer V.1.6
Thank you ALL
Mark
Edit: with normal ECS wb when i open the Workbench partion the Graphics Glitches on WB......32gb SD PFS3 (workbench is 500mb with 100 buffers)
Also plugged in my Rom Switch....3.1.4 rom issues as above......3.1 rom but with os.3.1.4 i can use the WB menus but only slowly.
Also moved my TF536 to the 68000 cpu socket just incase it was the lazarus bored that was the issue.....No change in stability.
Tried WB 3.1 install and p96....zz9000 installer 1.6 firmware 1.7 beta....and 3.1 Rom.....no change in Stability.....right mouse button locks up the system:
NEXT up....a MODDED PC PSU as ive been using a "heavy type A500" psu as its never given me any issues,

Re: TF536 with ZZ9000 video card
If you follow the ZZ firmware development you’ll notice that the firmware 1.6 didn’t work with the 536. You really need to update the firmware on its SD card first. Also I am not certain of this but I think there are different versions for the A500 or the A500+.
Lastly, you’re welcome to send me the 536 for a firmware update.
Edit: also feel free to ask Lukas which firmware version he recommends for the ZZ on your machine.

On the MNT website he states that V1.7 drivers work with the TF536...Thats what I`m using....the ZZ9000 installer V1.6 installs a zz9000 driver over the Altis P96 driver....the Va2000 shows up in P96 Prefs....but no Va2000 monitor file in Devs:

Re: TF536 with ZZ9000 video card
UPDATE:
Tried OS3.1.4 FFS SD card.....with only P96 V3.01 icomp......ZZ9000 installer V1.6...Firmware 1.7
all issues remain as above......So I`m thinking its The TF536/Firmware(old)
Below are pictures of the Icon Graphics Glitches.....Mouse Pointer Glitches.
Then Further Down.....P96 Prefs that have the Va2000 in the Card list(deleted this entry...made no difference)
Then the "test screens" from the OS3.1.4 Screen Mode....When I test them there is NO graphics Glitches at all.

Is the installer 1.6 the latest one? In any case, you can send me the board for the firmware update.

Re: TF536 with ZZ9000 video card
May i ask You how much ChipRAM do You have / wich AGNUS are You using?
If You have 2MB VBB Agnus - You may install 100nF cap between pin 41 and GND Otherwise You'll get such graphical glitches like You have atm..

Re: TF536 with ZZ9000 video card
I'm thinking its an Angus thing too.
The only time I have seen graphical corruption like that, was when my A2000 Angus was causing problems and needed a fibreglass pen over the pins to clean them up. Then the problem went away.
