TF536, A2000 Rev 4, 3.1.4, and romulator?

Post by patracy »

Just checking to see if anyone has tried this combo before? I currently have a A2000 with a romulator. I've got a GVP 030 card, but it apparently won't work with the romulator. I've seen mention on EAB that someone had a TF534 that worked with a romulator they had. And then of course will it all work with 3.1.4?

I have no clue what a romulator is, so I can't help you there, but I can tell you the card works fine with 3.1.4 (except on the A600).

I think that's going to be a pretty rare combination, I've got a V6 A2000, with 3.1.4 and a TF536... happy to test a romulator if you send me one :-).. V6 motherboard might not be representative though.

It (romulator) doesn't seem to play well with my GVP 030 combo accelerator. I think it's an issue with the reset signal and the card trying to hold it. Someone over on EAB mentioned they had it working with a TF534, but haven't heard back from them or anyone else about it. I'm absolutely fine with moving over to a TF536, but I'm kinda leary to throw more money to end up where I might already be.
