I am one step further now... was checking all the PINs at the cpld and found one that was bad...
Now the memory is detected, but in 5 ranges 8MB, 16MB, 16MB, 16MB, 8MB.
The quick memtest run without errors.

two of the address pins are shorted somewhere. Do you have the OBV file and open board viewer?ninjafahrer wrote: ↑Tue Jan 26, 2021 6:15 pm I am one step further now... was checking all the PINs at the cpld and found one that was bad...

Re: TF536 no RAM detected
to be more precise on the memory detection:
8MB 40000000-407fffff
16mb 4080fffc-4180fffb
16mb 4181fff8-4281fff7
16mb 4282fff4-4382fff3
8mb 4383fff0-4403ffef
8MB 40000000-407fffff
16mb 4080fffc-4180fffb
16mb 4181fff8-4281fff7
16mb 4282fff4-4382fff3

Re: TF536 no RAM detected
OBV FIle.. .works for me with openboardview-8.0.exe (included)ninjafahrer wrote: ↑Tue Jan 26, 2021 8:44 pm to be more precise on the memory detection:

16mb 4282fff4-4382fff3
8mb 4383fff0-4403ffef
sounds to me like an issue with A23 or A24 being shorted together? or maybe the BA0 and BA1 pins?

Re: TF536 no RAM detected
I ve checked A23 & A24 and in a second test BA0 and BA1 pins. All ok, no shortage.

Re: TF536 no RAM detected
Other possibility is that A24-A27 are badly connected between the CPU and the CPLD.

That was the missing bit, even that the Multimeter showed that everything is ok resoldering made it finally work!
