Well it would be boring without the odd new fault to keep us all busy

I will need some help updating VHDL code in the future.. I know zero about it. Won't be anytime soon though.

Better start saving up for it now...

On a vaguely related point, I'm building up an FPGA-based retro computer (6502/6809/Z80) which involves some VHDL so when I've got my head round it again (last used it about 20 years back) I'll try and help with that if I can.

Would be happy to start contributing what & where I can..
I have a few of those chips handy here and have been thinking of making the real thing.

Yeah, version 2 gonna be epic ;)

Really need everyone else to catch up meanwhile anyway.

I've got a few 6502 family devices and a couple of Z80s but always wanted to use the 6809 & never had chance...so the idea of being able to reprogram the FPGA between the different cores is very attractive.
I also wondered if the Altera FPGAs would be useful for other tasks ;-)

More sleepless nights ahead.

Would be interesting to know how all the boards out there are doing.

There has been some brief discussions about adding more features into the FPGA..

Ultimately the GLUE,MMU,BLITTER should hopefully be all integrated into one FPGA.. at least for the STF project.

Meanwhile, a lot of the ramblers stuff like my boosters will probably continue to use PLD's. Its all 5V stuff, so no need to over complicated it all :)

Other than what people have posted here, no idea. Troed is building his, but he cannot seem to sit still at the moment, so progress is slow there.. Not really sure who else is building one up currently.

I count 8 of us in the ALPHA USER BUILDS. I think kodak80 has a few boards - lost count of how many :)

Were there 15 boards in total?

Ah yes kodak80 (forgot sorry!) has 3 boards I think..
