Never seen any oxidised chips on my boards here. I've got a big bag of the PLCC's, but I haven't anything to test them on and dont know if the H4 is even wired right yet. I got them ages ago, probably from China, so half of them probably wont work. They will go in my store at some point.

Theres loads of MFP's on ali at the moment..

You're most welcome.
Glad to be of help :)

Word of warning... building the second H4 I ran out of jumper pins so I used some I had laying around which were a little longer than normal. Sometimes the machine would freeze on with the power supply in place. Turns out those jumpers were just long enough to contact the bottom of the poser supply plate and the machine would freeze.

Have looked into my remaining issues and all resolved. The DMA that failed the Atari dogcart is attributed to a wonkie DMA socket. If I removed the DMA chip and re-inserted one out of three times I would get the failure but the U-Satan still worked. Replaced socket and straitened leads on the DMA chip has eliminated the issue on H4#1. Also I put a glitter in the H4#1 and it would hang just prior to putting up the desktop with the mouse cursor stuck in the bee form. Found that I installed RP7 with a 10k sip instead of the 1k sim. That fixed the glitter issue. Parallel port failure I had on H4#2 was a test cable not fully inserted. So were 100% functional on both H4's..

Hope someone has seen these hp analyzer pod plugins. So The first and second picture is the analyzer cable made to plug into a board connector. The third picture is a pc board with a SMT mounting for a SMT plug that excepts the pod. We used to use these when I was at Motorola. I want to make 64 and 40 adaptors to accept these plugs so I can access signals on mass. Does anyone have a clue on the part numbers of the pc portion of this connector?

I found a picture of the connectors I'm looking for. This is a cut that shows the connectors on a development board.

Well found a HP manual just on the probes and connectors and it looks like mouser sells them.. pretty expensive though.

Ok, just ran into a strange issue with H4#2. The cartridge port works with the dogcart and all tests pass. I put the netusbee in and it hangs on boot with either a checkerboard video display or a white screen. Works fine on H4#1... The only difference is the #2 has the SMT MMU and GLUE but I doubt that has anything to do with it though.. Not real important so I'm not going to look at soon since I'll looking at restarting my TF530 effort.

Check the ROM pins on the GLUE, maybe a short or bad connection.
