44pin Male Female Female cable

Post by ap_kelly » Sun Jul 19, 2020 5:41 am

Hi there,

I've tried Googling unsuccessfully, but does anyone know where I could find a 44pin IDE cable that would allow me to extend the one I currently have to support adding 2 IDE drives?

I have a load of software on an existing drive that I want to copy and though it might be easier to connect both drives at once, rather than copying everything to via a floppy disk.

Does the Atari Falcon support adding 2 HDDs at once? I have the latest v11 HDDriver software purchased if that helps.

Thanks.

I'm an idiot.....with a bit more force I realised that the IDE cable on my falcon isn't hard-wired to the motherboard (unlike the floppy is), so I just need a cable with 3 female connectors, and there seem to be plenty of those on Amazon and eBay.
