Amiga repairs/service in West Midlands UK

Post by Steve »

Hi all,

Just informing any visitors that I am available for Amiga services in West Midlands UK. My speciality so far seems to be battery damaged a500+ models, but I can troubleshoot any model. I can also offer recapping services, and PSU servicing, PM me if interested.

Thanks,

Hi,

I’ve just tried my Amiga after a long time without use. It worked initially but now I have the green screen issue. I don’t want to wreck it, so would be interested in getting it repaired....

Regards

Matt

Hi Matt, usually a green screen is caused by a badly seated Agnus chip. I would recommend you firstly open up your Amiga and re-seat all socketed chips, just pull them out and put them in again. This will likely fix it for you, if not let me know :)
