The Warp guys will sell you one.

But if you remember I came to this forum pointed by AlenPPC, and I was okay with not having CDROM. Last time the issue was correct relocator and pins, still no CDROM support, and that's fine, but again, since the parts, relocator, all your hard work so far is there, i don't get it. Nevertheless, I respect your decision and appreciate all the work you put into it. I hope you change your mind. Great people achieve great things because they stick to their thing regardless of what copycats are doing and they have passion for it TF. M060 are on limited supply, it's a new board design, Vampire is FPGA based altoghether and they already have a headstart in this field, budget solution for passionate collectors - none to be found

I dont understand this? the TF536 works on the CDTV. It always has. It was developed on it and the A2000. Just the CDROM and space fitting issues that go0se has solved. What more is needed to meet your requirement?

Buying a TF536 for the CDTV at the moment is a a bit like getting a tattoo based on a vague description of what you want.

The previous relocator I designed has the potential for a short when soldered to the 536 on single row headers, I've revised that design and ordered a batch but they haven't even arrived with me yet and as such are currently completely untested.

As TF has also perfectly reasonably stated that he won't be doing any more work on the drivers in light of the "WARP" then it seems a bit pointless to me to have a hamstrung CDTV with an accelerator in it. I appreciate that is the choice of the CDTV owner, but it's slightly depressing to build a card that limits the machine.

As it has also become clear that in order to close the lid on the CDTV the 536 needs to be soldered to the relocator then that changes the situation somewhat. You no longer have a modular TF536 that you can use in other Amigas without de-soldering 64 pins. For this reason I'm not currently building any CDTV 536 cards i.e. the solution has not been tested.

I will be releasing the files for the updated relocator and the extended ROM programming adapter once they arrive and have been tested.

Considering situation, soldering relocator for a TF536 would not be good choise. As go0se said, it limits use to CDTV only and now without any change to get it work with CDTV 100%.

Would be that soldering CPU directly to TF536 would allow close the lid or would IDE header be still be a limit? Another thing is risk that CPU doesn't work 50mhz perfectly. So soldering CPU directly to TF536 would make locking it to lets say 40mhz to smart choise?

I would gladly pay for the product as is, as long as I can boot from CF with installed WB with extra RAM, No CD boot. I'm after it only and only for CDTV. Ide pins need to be reversed and we're good taking into account great work on relocator by go0se. 40mhz for a machine that stocks 7mh would be my dream come true

I think this is the issue.. you see this as a product. Its not. its a project.
