ZZ9000 Rev 4 1.8 Firmware/Drivers RTG issue

Post by uniquefreak »

Hoping someone can help with this one (I have posted on the Facebook ZZ9000 Group too and was advised to also post here). But basically We have a 6.2 recapped A2000 board, with V4 ZZ9000. Running 1.8 Boot File and 1.8 Drivers, with P96 Official (Paid for) from iComp). If we run standard Amiga resolutions (320 x 256 etc there's no issue) but if we run any of the new resolutions, beyond displaying Workbench in that resolution, if we try to add a background to Workbench in those resolutions or do anything to use further RTG abilities, it locks up and crashes with Guru Med. We can add a standard Workbench Pre-set Pattern, but nothing else. We were previously running 1.9 (same issue) but also due to other issues, we've backed off, back to 1.8 (as we discovered there were known issues with 1.9). We've remove (completely and reinstalled P96 and the ZZ9000 drivers. It's running Workbench 3.1. On a hardware level, we are running a TF356 (With Co Lo CPU adaptor) with CF Card for boot - Purchased new and tested on dispatch by Retro Ready (great service!). A GOTEK as DF0 and Irix Labs Z2 to SD card adaptor. An Ace2b 2MB Chip Ram upgrade and a 4 Way Kickstart Switcher (currently set to 3.1). We burn tested the setup at every stage for a good few weeks with no issues. We don't have the ZZ9000 USB or Ethernet drivers installed yet. Tia.
