Yeah... Worth knowing that anyway..
JezC wrote: Tue Apr 13, 2021 3:26 pm then if someone else can weigh the other sockets etc. we should be pretty close (as far as knowing if 2 or 3 boards will fit within the weight limit).
Sockets on their own is not totally accurate because of the solder... It only has to be 1g out to tick over the 2KG limit etc

Realistically with my board being 580g.. plus maybe 200g packing, thats 780... So 2 boards being 780x 2 = 1.56KG Even including the chips...

I know it was a problem to ship 3 boards before, as Either goes over dimensional or weight limits.. But as the boxes are only 3cm tall, I'm only going to be able to ship one board per box anyway...

Problem becomes as postage ticks up and down in various steps like 100g etc.. ...

Hmm...all a royal PITA.

I will weigh the board & let you know.

Edit:
Ok, so the bare H4 board weighs in at 338g while the H5 board + 'birdseed' but nothing else is tipping the scales at 388g.

Finally got the quotation back. My guess was pretty much spot-on as they come in at £122.

It seems a lot, but when you take into account that there are around £40 worth of parts now (which have been sourced as cheaply as possible) and then plus assembly of it all etc, the value is not really that bad. A good chunk of the cost ends up being plummeted into postage and import charges :(

I will open up a new thread for interested people shortly.
