STorm ST/Cloudy decoder with RTC compatibility

Post by lrodriguezrullan »

Will the STorm ST/Cloudy decoder with RTC work with the H5 in one of the 5V Bus IO ports? If so, may I leave the TOS ROM socket empty when using the STorm ST/Cloudy?

Thanks

Well I have mine installed, just waiting to confirm some traces, and then fire it up.

Has ANYONE used a Lightning/Cloudy or STorm/Cloudy or better yet a Lightning/Storm/Cloudy on the H5 board????

I do not have another machine to test my combo on at the moment, but I cannot get Lightning/Cloudy to decode (NO ROM ON BOOT)

I can get STorm Cloudy to boot to EMUTOS on the Cloudy.. but it cannot switch tos .. by hook or by crook.. nada.

with all three together, again.. I can get STORM to decode emutos.. but nothing else..

Remove the grey wire. The RTC should only have 4 wire connected.

EDIT: The wire is for software switching and is covered in the manual about STorm in the link I gave above. Sorry about that.

The lightning board is mounted upside down.

Yes I noticed that before I started it up DoG, as I noted on my build thread.

Seems my Cloudy is not working correctly. I can get all the functions of the Storm and the Lightning working, but the cloudy is stuck in one profile and will not switch or program.
