exxos PSU wiring for 230V

Post by tomster »

Hi all,

I feel quite stupid asking this since there's good documentation available for exxos' PSU, but I just got some brand new PSU from exxos and the grey and purple wires are not wired together as shown in https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/forum/viewt ... 510#p46167

So I'm wondering how that fits with the statement that
I already configure the primary for 230V which leaves you with the normal blue & brown mains wires. The secondaries are wired in series and the "link" is the "bullet crimp" which I do when people buy the 230V version.
I assume I have to wire together the grey and purple wires on my own?

Thanks
Tom

This link may be better https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/forum/viewt ... f=9&t=1510

It changed a few weeks ago that I am no longer selling pre-configured primaries.https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/forum/viewt ... 144#p44708

Edit:
I have removed the line to prevent future confusion.

Okay, so I'll proceed and connect grey+purple with each other.

Thanks
