Hi!
Is it better to use the STF/M 4MB SIMM - C070789 [0020] Upgrade in combination with Booster 2.3
and STFM KIT DUAL TOS [0131] or 4MB MMU TYPE RAM UPGRADE [0035]?
-> my mainboard is an Atari STFM 1040 C070789 Rev.E!
Are there any differences at all or is it only a matter of how much work I want to invest?!
Thank you for your help!
Greets,
Peter

Re: Which RAM Upgrade to you suggest
The 0020 SIMM kits is actually discontinued now. The only one still selling is 0035

Re: Which RAM Upgrade to you suggest
Ok, and how do you connect the 16MHz wire to the shifter IC? (it's not the original if
the RAM Kit is applied -> I found no information for this scenario in your Booster 2.3 explanation)
Or let's ask differently: where is Pin 39 of the Shifter IC on your replacement?!
Thank you!

Re: Which RAM Upgrade to you suggest
Ah now I see: it's just an adapter for the original IC not a replacement!
Thank you for the quick reply!
