You know the proper blitters are in my store now ? The FPGA board is likely going to cost a lot more than the proper chips.
yep, I do know that.

I just need fpg blitter to do some code experiments

ah ok, probably thing to do is remind us when we get closer to looking for people to beta test it.

Using my DEV board (https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/forum/viewt ... =18&t=1806) with a Blitter socket and pins

This is how the Blitter board is going to look once soldered in.

Am looking to re-flowing the board tonight. Only if non-Atari stuff doesn't get in the way. Finger crossed :)

Board is taking a bit more shape. Have managed to get most of the components on the board. Just missing a few resistors I couldn't find. Will add them in by hand later. If my hands stay steady enough. I was just talking with exxos on sometimes with SMT the stars align and they place perfectly and solder perfectly. Other days, which is usually most, it ends up being an absolute pig to place and solder.

How it looks plugged in but of course this won't work yet its far from ready to power up.

Well we shall see PhilC :)

I guess with shorts, disconnects from the soldering to sort out first. Then if we haven't wired anything up incorrectly we should be able to power the board to then start looking at putting a core on the FPGA.

If least we can power it up (not on a ST motherboard) and get the FPGA to flash the LED we have achieved a little bit of glitter.
