Just think of it this way Exxos, 140x5=700 700/60=11.4 additional hours!!!!

It's not much in the grand scheme of things but every minute helps!!!

Phil, scarped your last warts off. I took out the Exxos time expansion since he has already extended a day to 140 hrs. :)

Finally got the v3 to boot and work today with newly written firmware in it. Main issue was around the dreaded header socket contacts.

So what's new in the v3:
  • Smaller lower profile design
  • FlashROM select to be done by software not jumpers - don't want to keep opening the case to change things
  • Addition of IO lines to use with the future ALT-RAM board Exxos is working on
Now to get some more built and to start getting the software FlashROM selection working.

Received the Lightning_ST today and installed it in the mega4 I use to work on software for the clock board. THING WORKS GREAT!! Now have an Ethernet connection to the MSTE and the MEGA 4 not to mention usb storage on both. I can finally use bbedit on the mac to edit files from the ST. Was really a pain transferring files for the mega via the MSTE to the mac. Only thing remaining is to check out its IDE interface. See photo... the Lightning ST is hiding under the clock board. :) :) :)

Phil, you know as well as I do if you spend any time on this forum its inevitable that you will catch the "ExxosIcky" stacking contagion. I haven't heard of a cure so I expect it will just get worse.
