Your next step choices are to remove the old RAM, and/or change the bus resistors to 2.2K and see if that fixes the problem.

If I can remember correctly it's only 5 of them. On the C070787, RP2 and RP3 are the data bus and RP4, RP6 and RP8 are the data bus.

A few hours later...
I removed all the old RAM : It's alive ! :yay2: :thanksyellow:
I still have not changed the SIL 10k resistors: Should I ?
What do I do with R59,R60,R61, R71,R72,R73 resistors, do I leave it like this or should i remove them ?
I also figured out that C49, the big blue capacitor 16v 1000uf (near U25 - U30) is a bit damaged, i will change it : I don't know if size matters but Conrad has only one Axial wich look tiny :https://www.conrad.com/search?search=16 ... pe=regular Do you have a good source or advice for a replacement ?

If your not having issues then maybe not, but I would suggest you change them at some point anyway.

Stick in a panasonic FR 4700uf 16V.. Its radial, but you got room to bodge it in.

Ok, thanks a lot Exxos for your help

Next step will be to add a touch key self-locking switch under the keyboard like this to select between 1M or 4M.

Seems that the switch needs power to work? 1Mb/4Mb switching should be done before you turn the computer on.
