Great work, I am really looking forward to see the finished thing :)
Thanks. It's going to take time as I mentioned I have messed up my current printer putting in a new board and need to print a few more pieces out. Also its a bit of a modify on the go build as the dimensions are outside of a supported build for the Voron its based on.

I too can't wait to see it do its first ST case print.

Moved onto the bottom of the printer and started to place some of the boards in. I have the Z drive steppers out as I am having some new parts kindly printed by PhilC whilst my current printer is still trying to recover from a new mainboard replacement. I know, I shouldn't have too many projects on the go at once. :)

With this size printer there is plenty of space for the Duet 2 and Duex 5 and will need to start putting in the PSU's, Raspberry Pi etc etc.

XY gantry belts now all in place with the toolhead block showing the Z-probe. Next task to start wiring and testing things are working as expected.

I'll be impressed if it can produce ceramic mugs. :-)
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Most important thing for the printer is making sure you have the right boot logo on your screen :)

Printed parts arrived from PhilC this morning (much appreciated PhilC), now need to clean them up and get the Z drive area sorted.

Good choice with the Duet and Duex. I hear they are worth the higher price.
