Nice work @PaulJ! There go my dreams of competition glory. :lol:

Now that you have a working system, could you do me a favour and check the resistances between video DAC pins 7 and 8, 31 and 32, and 43 and 44 (i.e. three pairs)? I suspect something is up with mine there and would like to compare. Thanks!

EDIT: Oh yeah, and can you tell me how hot your DAC is getting? Mine's hot, right around pain threshold. Wondering if that's normal.

Its first boot based on delivery dates, so even people who haven't had theirs yet are still in with a chance :). Compo is still on! :)

Sure, but Paul got his on 27 November and I got mine on 21 November, so I am officially out. :D

Could still qualify for the booby prize though. :mrgreen:

Nah, no chance...just wait until I get my bare board (as well as the built-up one) - it'll probably take me until Christmas 2020 to get that one built & working. :lol: :roll:

Yes, I'll check the resistance for you. My DAC also gets pretty warm, as you said you can leave a finger on it but you notice its warm.
