I tried replacing it with the 50 MHz oscillator and got the same result. I changed back to 33 MHz until I figure it out.
I noteiced now that the system responds even though the picture is purple. Pressing buttons for DiagRom menu selectrions causes screen activity and it's obviously doing stuff in the background.
Will inspect all my solderings once more.

Re: Noob building a TF534
If I put in the Kickstart 1.3 ROM I get a green screen and the keyboard power LED blinks with about 1 Hz.
Re: Noob building a TF534
The 68000 work with the relocator, BTW. I tested that. I also made a relocator for the kickrom which seems to work fine too.
I could try removing the four ram chips and see if it changes anything.
I have another 68030 on the way too from another seller.

Re: Noob building a TF534
Guessing I got the clock speed jumper backwards, and it's actually running 33 MHz mode.
Sysinfo 4.3 Crashes after it tells me Exec does not reflect my hardware correctly and asks if I want to correct it.
Are my RAM chips incompatible with TF534? I got these, which reflect the BOM well, but it says they are 8 MB chips.

Re: Noob building a TF534
Never mind. It's 8 Mb, wo 1 MB, not 8 MB.
Re: Noob building a TF534
Diagrom does detect everything now. Here's what happens if I check RAM above $40000000:
Workbench 1.3 doesn't seem to find it though, and games that require 1 MB don't work.

Re: Noob building a TF534
Forget about Kickstart 1.3, it doesn't recognise Zorrolll RAM space. It also doesn't contain scsi.device, so ide will not work
Get a 3.1 or 3.1.4 rom and You'll be fine

Re: Noob building a TF534
Ah. Thanks. Makes sense. I'll order a 3.1 rom.
Re: Noob building a TF534
I got my 3.1 rom today and can report that my TF534 works like a charm. 17.79 times the speed of an A600 at 50 MHz. Elite 2 runs very smooth.
There are a lot of incompatibilities with games though. Chuck Rock, Hard Drivin', Hard Drivin' 2, Race drivin', GODS are some I tried that wouldn't load. Hard Drivin' 1 and 2 would load, but had garbled graphics. I entered the games anyway and could tell that they ran super smooth compared to the usual slide show with a 68000. I can swap the TF534 out for the 68000 for those, but I'm not much of a gamer really. I mostly just like to tinker and get stuff working so this is great.
Are there differences in compatibility between the previous and the latest firmware?

Seems Your CPU isn't happy to run @50Mhz, try to lower frequency to 40Mhz and see if graphical glitches are gone,
also ensure You are using the latest FW
