Here is the BOM i used for my build...

Ignore the Device column.. Value column wins.

EDIT: As pointed out to me you dont need to buy a 68000.. its just the socket.

Thanks for the BOM!

So double triple checking (so that you have to repeat yourself ;) )it's XC95288XL-10TQG144I (value column)...

For the RAM, I'm happy enough with 64MB and that's what's in my cart at the moment. For 128MB would these be a candidate?: https://www.digikey.com.au/product-deta ... ND/6716555

Is it worth keeping track who is building what configurations? I'm happy with either (noting that it looks like the 128MB config is roughly double the RAM price). If noone is building 128MB I'd be the guinea pig but I'm happy with 64MB (can't even fill it on my TF330 :) )

EDIT: the XC95288XL-10TQG144I is about 5 GBP more expensive than the C... I recall I vs C was an issue on the TF530?

This was never an issue- you can use a C.

I have never built a modern board but I have been soldering since the 1970`s and not afraid to try something more intricate so would this be a good project ? I had an Amiga 500 when they came out and modded it but I just bought another that was perfect condition seals intact and want to start modding again.

Why don't you start with a TF530? It's a proven design that works, it's inexpensive and fairly simple.

That would be great if I could find the parts still, are the boards and components still available ?

To my knowledge yes, everything is still available. I can even send you a blank PCB if you like at the cost of postage.

This thread is for the TF536. Which is only open to people who have already built my previous boards. Please stay on topic. There is no certainly that another batch will ever happen
