Mandi's build of TF534

Post by Mandi » Sat Jan 11, 2020 10:54 am

Today I finally find some time to built my TF534 board. As for now it has populated almost all things (only FPU socket is missing, because I probably won't use FPU at all with that). One thing to do is to flash card, put CPU and make some tests. But this won't happened today (no programator at hand).

And this is how it looks right now:

Thanks! It waits in my queue almost half year until I collect all parts and find some time to assembly it together :-) Still waiting for TF536:-)

I concur, that is nicely done.
You will find they are a very stable card and well worth the investment of money and time.

I think your RAM CPLD is backwards. The small dot is pin 1.

ANd I succesfully programmed my board with Raspberry Pi 3b, it verifies that files flashet correcly with latest firmware, but it won't runs. IC10 becomes hot only, so next step is to verify if there's no shorts somewhere on it (on two CPLDs for sure no shorts)...

Do you have JP1 set properly?
