I am still troubleshooting build.

Forgot that 4 layer board are pain to solder correctly. I really need to invest in better soldering station.
Yeah you really need a basic temperature controlled iron and always use the "proper" amount of flux
Weird. I can start diagrom and all mem test ok (on fast test and 5mb slow reported ok before skipping it), but can't start normal kickstart 3.1

Slow ram?

Can you edit memory manually at 0x40000000?

Sorry. It was slow test option on manual mem test.
It takes ages to test 64mb.

It must be dry solder somwhere.

I’ve had that with TF534. Diagrom doesn’t test the RAM 100%, and the Kickstart power on routine does some other tests. For me it was a bridge or floating pin or something like that.

Try putting KS 1.3 on there just to see if it boots. 1.3 doesn’t test the memory as thoroughly as the later versions do.

I think Stephen made a special firmware build for me that didn’t autoconfig the fast ram, so that I could boot on a floppy and then add the RAM with addmem and run AmigaTestKit to figure out where the fault was.

A kludge is a workaround or quick-and-dirty solution that is clumsy, inelegant, inefficient, difficult to extend and hard to maintain.

It had to be soldering on cpld.

It seems that I still have some issues. Looks like my hdd image, as everything is ok from floppy.
EDIT: yes partition is corrupted. Need to set it up again.

Hi ,

I finally received the 2 missing IC and soldered them,TF536 is now finished.

Did a run whith Frontier for 2 hours , no crash

IDE preformance seems slow get only just 1 mb , but with fastrom option , I get even more then 4 MB and Workbench feels rather snapy then.
