Steem site vanished ?!

I have absolutely no idea why the steem site was deleted.. It was done by steven personally not by myself..

I saw this source forge..

There is no more "ataristeven" website dedicated to Steem SSE.
Unfortunately some spiteful person could disparage Steem without evidence on the former website host's forum, and ignore my request for clarification. Steem SSE couldn't stay there. The Atari ST scene never disappoints.
From now on, Steem SSE development notes will be available in this blog or at atari-forum, pictures will be uploaded to a third party host.

And I have absolutely no idea what he's talking about ?!

All I know is at some point yesterday he deleted the site for absolutely no reason that is all I know...

No it's not you personally and thx again for having hosted the site, but some people on your new forum are hostile to Steem SSE and quite sneaky. I didn't want you to act against those people because I guess you want their posts and their help, but I also can't accept that Steem be trashed.

I have tried to convince him to return but he is not willing.. So I think it is official that the steem site is officially gone for good Actually makes me kinda angry as well.. no good at all will come of this..

I have put up a note as this will likely cause total chaos for the community..

Was the only post steve did.. Though I don't think troed was slagging off steem there ?! I mean how many people and how many years have people been saying lame stuff anyway, why did basically nothing cause steve to ditch his entire site over it...

I mean, if steve doesn't like troed... troed posts on my server, so steve leaves my server and takes steem with him... madness... Can only assume steve will quit AF as troed is there as well then on that logic, as hes got way more comments on stuff than just 1 post here.

Kinda pissed off with it all TBH.. I try to bring the community back together in a nice friendly environment, and yet people still bugger off! .. stupid if you ask me.

Hatari emulates all four wakestates accurately. Steem doesn't. If that's "slagging" well, sorry. It was a factual comment meant to help Smonson in his testing, not to be some judgement of the quality of Steem overall.

(Actually I think Steven is well under way to make a superior emulation also with regards to Shifter, considering the threads we've both frequented lately on A-F)

Nobody understands whats going on troed... Just seems like a software discussion to me, and everyone else i've mentioned it to.

I mean, if thats all it took for him to punish the community by deleting his site.. why now ? why hasn't he done so months/years ago... I don't get it.

I'm a little stunned by this, the thread seemed like a normal healthy discussion, then suddenly everything has gone nuclear.

I really don't get it, I just don't. Sad for the community, it just doesn't make sense.

It does nothing but pull the plug on the community for a useful resource, what's the point? and what does it achieve ?. Maybe Steve just wants to quit all together and this is just the start ?. Even so , just to remove the site when he had a free host and then basically say he will have to use 3rd party hosting for files... its just stupid.. he had a free host, so hes done nothing but create himself more work and just cause more work for steem users.

steem page had 1,797 hits in december alone. Was a pretty active site. Now all 404 hits filling up my error log files . I will have to start doing google requests to remove all the linked pages now.. so more work for me as well Maybe someone else should take over steem if sources are available if this is the shape of things to come ?
