Re: Terriblefire in 2020
I've not seen any other cards around apart from the rtg by matze, the zz9000 and chuckys a3660 that's why I asked if there was any tf planned for the 3k & 4k
I'm quite tempted to buy the zz9000 as it has a few features built in to one card (rtg, ethernet, usb and a scandoubler)
My wish list for an accelerator would be 060 , big ram and faster ide all on one board .
Ps I do have a card kel connector that I bought a while ago waiting for some solder and a tf pcb!!
Thanks terriblefire for your past and future work !!

Re: Terriblefire in 2020
Its a heck of lot of work to get DMA going just so the SCSI controller can DMA into RAM. Personally dont think its worth it but its not my board.

Re: Terriblefire in 2020
heh, well, i appreciate it either way. anything to make the A3k scsi not as slow as the A4k IDE is very welcome.
this is all great news
it is interesting seeing you guys put these boards together and hearing about the little tweaks and seeing challenges you've faced along the way. i've learnt a lot so far myself.
be it this board from Matze, or a TF3000/4000, chalk me down for at least one or even two! i have some 060's that have been begging for a good home, and the Commodore A3640 board SUCKS. see other forums

Overengineered as usual That's why I'd love to get some good TF4060 port of the 360/1260terriblefire wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 8:56 pm Its a heck of lot of work to get DMA going just so the SCSI controller can DMA into RAM. Personally dont think its worth it but its not my board.

Re: Terriblefire in 2020
Ok so update...
I'm sick in bed with a cold and i've run out of netflix so i'm routing boards.
1. TF536 rev 2 is done and ordered.
2. TF360 rev 2 is done and ordered.
Next...
3. CD32 Riser updates....
4. TF1260 review.
if we stay in lockdown for ages i'll do a TF4060. I'd generally recommend Matze's 3000 card though. MIne is going to be a fever driven port of the TF360.
