I think it is pretty much a law, that the first run of any board always needs a bodge wire somewhere.. We can call it "exxos's law"

Just because a lot of people agree on something, doesn't make it a fact. ~exxos ~

sounds like a new law for the forum
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.
Re: exxos blog - random goings on
I have seen boggy wire repairs done with great stealth using permatex window repair paint and smd flow over.
I had to get a magnifying glass out to find the sucker
And this mistake was made by a team of engineers and cad people some with PhD

My mistakes are normally lack of sleep and distracting background noise of women constantly talking at me which makes it hard to concentrate on anything Plus girlfriend's cat sometimes bullies me

When I did my electronics training, I delibiratly didn't go to uni for a PhD. I wanted experience not theory. Uni students used to come to my old work place for work experience, 3 years and never touched a soldering iron. I had to teach them how to solder
Also one guy tried to lecture me that audio has positive and negative cycles so you have to use a split power rail... Hmmm OK

Re: exxos blog - random goings on
I have done a reroute on the MEGA ST DUALTOS BOARD. It is still basically the same board just tidied up and I have marked on the CE pad in case anyone needs it.
As mentioned in this post, I'm going to start selling PCBs only (not full kits) and people either by the additional items from my store or from or some other supplier. This is to cut down on the amount of work and items I have to keep processing all the time.
Some people will undoubtedly complain about such a move, but people are complaining anyway because out of stock items simply take such a long time to get back into stock again. So reducing the amount of parts in the kits is the only way to speed up such things. It will also help to reduce the amount of stock I have to keep (and buy) . These changes will undoubtedly take a long time to get into motion but that will be the direction I will be moving in, at least for "self-assembly" kits.
