Well, the boards have been manufactured and are on their way from China.

I've ordered all the parts I didn't have in stock to build at least a couple.

@PhilC would you like a few boards to play with when they arrive?
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

I've finally got around to trying to compile the CUPL file and found a syntax mistake. So, here's the corrected version.
(Unfortunately the forum won't allow me to attach the JED file.)

Code: Select all

Name     TOS 2.06 ROM decoder ;
PartNo   00 ;
Date     28/09/2020 ;
Revision 01 ;
Designer Engineer ;
Company  Personal ;
Assembly None ;
Location  ;
Device   g16v8 ;

/* *************** INPUT PINS *********************/
PIN  1   =  A18                       ; /*                                 */
PIN  2   =  A19                       ; /*                                 */

@stephen_usher the forum is happy with zip files, so maybe add it to a zip and post it?

The last of the chips arrived today. Hopefully the sockets from Exxos will turn up tomorrow, then it's just waiting on the boards to arrive.

Apparently they're about to take off from Hong Kong and I've already had DHL asking if I'm VAT exempt. The official delivery estimate is Tuesday.

Once the sockets are here I can desolder the 68000 on the machine, fit the socket and test with the original CPU.

@stephen_usher Don't let @PhilC know you've been buying "his" 64 pin sockets...and they're nearly out of stock...

Sorry, was that the frantic clicking on the buy button I just heard? :lol: :roll:
