Re: I might be a bit quiet...
Well, some good news at last, looks like the signed contract for our buyer will be back at her solicitors tomorrow, so fingers crossed things will be moving fast from that point
I guess I can use the time in exile (!!) to get on with my course on Udemy for 6502 assembly language programming on the Atari 2600. Will make a change from burning myself with soldering tools.

Re: I might be a bit quiet...
My favourite (!!) trick with my old iron was to snag the cable and have it pull through my fingers/hand, then scream loudly and drop it followed by scrabbling round to pick it up again before the carpet burns too much.....
Hope your pinkies aren't too

Re: I might be a bit quiet...
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.
