Re: TF1230 Beta Interest (Open Source)
Ok so first CF no boot second CF no boot ON mask or Eproms, then the 3rd cf ( Cheapo Blue & White Chineesium one ) which has earoks CD32 collection image on it runs with mask MX and it runs with Eproms on 1d4 so thats a result , I am going to have look at the CF system setup it might need tweaking, but positive result , nice one mate
Re: TF1230 Beta Interest (Open Source)
@terriblefire are you still expecting a Rev 2 PCB, or were the issues found related to how the Amiga operates, which was/is being fixed via Firmware?
Cheers

Not expecting a rev2 at this point. I'd like to try and figure out who still has issues.

Re: TF1230 Beta Interest (Open Source)
I have managed to boot on 3.0 MX without any weird guru on boot. I will try to do some more testing tomorrow.
So ReAmiga 1.2 seems to work ok.

Good to hear it's good on the 1b. Just waiting for a replacement membrane for mine, then I'll build my tf1230.carmonster wrote: ↑Mon Sep 13, 2021 11:19 pm Beta2 works for my 1200 boards 1B,2B & reamiga1.5 with kick roms MX3.1 and 3.2

1D4 board kick 3.1
System working from CF Card
I not see any issues
later I will check 2B and Reamiga rev1.5

Re: TF1230 Beta Interest (Open Source)
Here is some testing of latest firmware (1230r1 Beta2 dated 13/09/21) on both 1D4 and 2B motherboards from down south
KS 3.1, A1200 IDE, 64MB fitted to the 1230 (no floppy attached)
Everything ran very smoothly on a variety of different software packages, using both burnt EPROMs and MX mask ROMS on both the 1D4 and 2B motherboards.
AIBB: 18886 Dhrystones/Sec .. Memory - 15.58 MB/Sec
SysInfo: Dhrystones - 9404 ... MIPS - 9.81 ... Drive speed - 1,608,245 Bytes/Sec
BusSpeedTest: very close to what is already posted
Only thing I noticed that was different, is that ShowConfig was not showing any expansion boards, totally integrated into the 1200
Cost approx $90Aud (including PCB) for parts, about 3hrs to build (that was including attaching the passives on the back), add $60 for a secondhand gold top CPU(not a fake).
Wow a fully functional A1200 030 accelerator including CPU with 64MB (128MB probably $20 more) of RAM for approx. $150AUD (80GBP)
What more could you ask for, thank you @terriblefire excellent stuff.

Has anyone tried the TF IDE drive yet? it should work exactly like the TF1260 with the ehide.device.
