I tested it on 1-2 and 2-3, but after that I found some unsoldered pad, after fixing, a little bit progress, it starts to runs, but holds on second gray screen (ks 37.175). Tested on two different CPUs, the same. Probably time to get DiagROM and check what's going on :-)

Diagrom and serial is a must.
Those RAMs are pain to solder correctly.

So...:

1. Diagrom ordered
2. Max2323 as TTL-RS232 translator ordered
3. DB25 to DB9 ordered

And when all of that comes to me, next steps, connect RPi as Serial Debug Monitor and check what exactly going on...

I had similar symptoms, and when I ran it with DiagROM it reported having 16 Mb memory... Resoldered some of the memory chips and suddenly it was working properly (U10 is running cooler too).

And after running it on DiagROM, and resolder one more time all pins from RAM it finally runs on normal KS :-) Hoorayy!

But now I must one more time clean it out of flux, but this is piece of cace in comparsion to solder that memory pads :-)

Congratulations!

If you would like to expand fast ram by additional 8Mb then you can add mem68k. Zorro II ram.

Do we really need 060 on non-AGA Amiga 500?
